All is Right in My World Today

After a long cold winter season, Spring has finally returned! Today, the 26-time World Champion 37-time League Champion, Greatest Sports Team in History returns. Yes! Today, the Yankees season starts again! The feeling of hope and new life is back and all that I love is back on the playing field. Oh how I love the Yankees! May the Run to 27 begin today!!!





Update (10:10 AM PT): There is a rain delay. UGH! Why can't New York have beautiful weather like the Bay!!

Update (11:30 AM PT) GRRRR!!! Stupid Rain! The games has been postponed till tomorrow night. Guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow.

Update (2:00 PM PT) Well at least I got a good game out of the rain delay. Instead of my beloved Yanks, I got to watch Royal-Tigers which ended up going into the 11th inning. The Royals won 5-4 over the Tigers. So while it was no Yankees game, it was enjoyable to see baseball yet again.

Update (April 1, 2008 7:00 PM PT) Ok, so that's annoying. ESPN didn't cover the make-up game, so I was left with watching the pitch-by-pitch play update online. Not the most enjoyable way of seeing the Yankess opener. But the Yankees did win 3-2 and on their way to a 27th title!
